The Grumpy Monk is relatively new to Myrtle Beach with two locations one at Broadway at the Beach and another in Carolina Forest off of 501. They offer a huge selection of craft beers projected on tv screens all around you. They are very unique in their menu as well offering a full Sushi Bar along with Traditional Bar Food and Regular Restaurant Entrees. We have eaten here a lot and their Happy Hour Specials are a real bargin. Overall the Sushi is good but mediocre in terms of Myrtle Beach which offers some amazing places like SOHO and King Kong. Their Burgers however are AMAZING! They cook the burgers giving you options as if you were eating steak, and the Mushroom Swiss is to die for. The Salad options are also a real value as they serve it in a huge bowl. This place is one of our favorite but we are going to rate it fairly. Food comes in at an 8, Atmosphere is an 8, and value comes in an 8. Its a very good place and comes in at an overall 8.
