Shuckers is a staple in Myrtle Beach and currently has two locations one on Kings Highway and another at Broadway at the Beach. We have eaten at Shuckers a few times over the years and we keep going back. The first thing people notice about this particular restaurant and bar is that it is somewhat dark and curious from the outside. This is especially true of the Broadway location that is hidden at the back of the shopping complex. But dont let this stop you from trying out this hidden gem. First off the inside has a pretty neat feel about it. The people are friendly and welcoming and the servers are always quick to greet you no matter how busy they are. The menu itself is broad with a lot of variety of seafood items. Happy Hour Specials are great at this place as well being that it’s not just drinks its quality seafood and other great items.
The scallop dinner along with the steamed shrimp, mussles and tater tots from the happy hour menu are by far our favorites. Drinks are also reasonable for the area and the bartenders are top notch. This is a must visit for those on a golf trip to a family on vacation. Our ratings are 7 out of 10 for atmosphere, 8 out of 10 for food, 8 out of 10 for value. Overall it’s a solid 8.
