Even though Joe’s Crab Shack is a chain restaurant we wanted to get an idea how it stacks up against all of the other seafood restaurants in Myrtle Beach. We have eaten here many times and the pictures above represent only 2 items from their happy hour menu. The steam pots are still our favorite containing queen crab, potatoes corn, and shrimp. The crab stuffed mushrooms are a good option to, though the portions are small. There are 2 Joes Locations one at Broadway at the Beach and also Barefoot Landing. The food comes in at a 8.5, Atmosphere 8.5, Value 8. It’s a good restaurant but with so many all you can eat crab places its hard not to spend a little more and eat until you can’t move. Overall though try it out it’s always consistent and the service is excellent.
